5. Jason Puncheon vs Neil Warnock

With the 65 year old Neil Warnock having been out of a job since Championship side Leeds United fired him in April 2013, and Crystal Palace firing on all fronts in the Premier League under Tony Pulis, Jason Puncheon probably thought it was quite safe to launch a scathing attack on his former boss social media site Twitter in response to comments Warnock had made about a penalty he had missed. Little did he know that within nine months, the two would be linking up once more. Warnock had been working for Talksport at the time, when he stated that €˜there€™s no way I would€™ve trusted him with a penalty€™. Puncheon, who had played under Warnock for four months at QPR, was not best pleased.

As a result, the 27 year old winger was fined £15,000 by the FA and warned about his future conduct. He must have slumped in his chair when news broke about who was about to succeed Tony Pulis as Crystal Palace manager in August, but Warnock is adamant the issue has been put to bed.
