10 Worst January Premier League Signings Of The Last Decade
3. Oumar Niasse - Everton
The last few years have seen Everton splash more cash than ever before. It's not unusual to see them spend big sums on players nowadays.
However, just a few years back, the Toffees were just at the start of their transition into this new era of spending. As part of that transition, the club opted to part ways with upwards of £10m for relatively unknown striker, Oumar Niasse.
It's been a decision which, thus far, has proved a bad one. Despite a handful of goals to his name in Everton blue, Niasse is still nowhere near being a first-team regular and has spent most of his time out on loan.
A spell with Cardiff City last year failed to yield a single goal for the Senegalese forward. His previous loan spell with Hull City wasn't much better either, with only four goals to his name at the KCom Stadium.
Niasse has been a complete flop for Everton and it would be little surprise to see him move on again this season.
