Avoid the Bill Nicholson and The Bricklayers if you're intent on ignoring the away pub advice, and want to soak up a bit more of the Spurs pre-game atmosphere. They're both staunch, and while the atmosphere in the Bricklayers is something to behold, you probably won't be able to have a reasoned conversation. Plus it gets absolutely rammed. Despite formerly being called the Northumberland Arms, the Bill Nicholson is typically steeped in Spurs history. Maybe best to visit on a non-match day if you're really that bothered about taking in some history. The beer offerings aren't all that memorable.
