Although not directly associated with the club it does help to have teams that are worse than you in the division when you're trying to avoid relegation, Hull have a few. Crystal Palace currently sit bottom of the table and, despite appointing a new manager in Tony Pulis, are widely tipped to go down. They can boast that they are currently the only team to pick up a win at the KC Stadium but that won't save their season. They weren't expected to do well with Zaha and they've proved this. Hull are a far better team. Next is Sunderland. A club that seems to have a addiction with appointing over-the-top managers. Paulo Di Canio's poisonous period in charge of the club has come to an end but with Gus Poyet, they have a manager who is still pretty mental. They could avoid relegation but it's a difficult situation with Sunderland and this won't be a good season for them. Fulham are also struggling this season and have just sacked Martin Jol. I believe they will avoid relegation but Hull can pick up six points against the London outfit and are, in my opinion, a better side. I'd also rank Hull as better than Aston Villa, West Ham, Stoke City and Norwich. By this logic, Hull can expect a 13th placed finish in the worst case scenario. Do you agree that Hull will avoid relegation? Who do you think will plying their trade in the Championship next year?
