5 Swansea Players Who Newcastle Must Be Wary Of

By Matt Smith /

3. Bafetimbi Gomis

Bafetimbi Gomis demonstrated his physical ability within the first five minutes of Swansea's fixture against Chelsea. The French international was a constant threat up front and had a number of chances that he could (and probably should have) taken before he actually grabbed the equaliser from the penalty spot. The striker scored 10 goals in 37 games for the Swans last season and he will be hoping to emulate the success of Wilfried Bony, who netted times in 70 matches while playing as the central striker at the Liberty Stadium. Chancel Mbemba and Fabricio Coloccini will have to pay close attention to the six-foot-tall striker as he will pose a similar threat to that of Graziano Pelle, who scored a fine header against the Magpies last weekend.
