Not quite as famous as Ramos or Pirlo, but Amir Sayoud can certainly give them a run for their money from the spot. Egyptian side Al Ahly had the chance to extend their lead from the spot in a 2011 cup tie, and Algerian midfielder Sayoud was given the responsibility of beating the goalkeeper.

What happened from the spot kick beggars belief. As he stepped up, Sayoud feigned a shot, and then slipped over comically during his genuine attempt. The ball rolled straight into the goalkeepers gloves, and to add insult to injury, Sayoud was shown the yellow card for his troubles.
