When you think of Chelsea strikers, you think of Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba, two of the more potent Blues forwards in recent seasons. A name not on the tip of your tongue however is "Claudio Pizarro", and that's because he is yet another largely forgotten Mourinho signing. He joined Sidwell in moving on a free in 2007 but he never got a fair crack of the whip at Stamford Bridge. A lot was expected of him prior to his move, he had plundered 138 goals in 330 appearances for Bayern Munich over the course of a six year stint but his goal-laden days there never followed him to West London and he managed just two goals in 21 league appearances and was loaned out to Werder Bremen, where his move became permanent.
