This is the type of player the Liverpool boss will be looking for as an attacking outlet. Pacey, tricky and can play in a fluid front three which would provide a greater mix upfront. At 25 he would just about fit into the owners age bracket and shouldn't command a sky-high transfer fee like some players on this list.

A far-fetched one. A lot would have to happen for this deal to go through. First Liverpool would have to qualify for the Champions League, which is looking unlikely after Monday nights defeat to West Bromwich Albion. Then they would have to stump up 40 million plus Euros for the prolific Uruguayan. Still, a partnership between him and Luis Suarez in the red of Liverpool is a nice dream for supporters!
