3. Being Part Of The Bayern Revolution Could Be Too Tempting To Resist
On April 23rd, we were all left stunned when Bayern Munich routed Barcelona 4-0 at the Allianz Arena in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals. On May 1st, our jaws were on the floor when the Bavarians battered Barca in their own backyard 3-0 in the second leg to run out 7-0 winners. It's obvious that Bayern are here to stay and many have even tipped them to take over Barcelona's mantle as the best team in Europe for years to come. Pep Guardiola's arrival as manager in the summer will only strengthen a team that is already brimming with confidence after sealing the German championship in record time this season. Rooney has reportedly confided in those closest to him that he wants to swap Manchester for Munich and honestly, who could blame him? Bayern are in the final of the Champions League, are the champions of their division and clearly have a bright future ahead of them. Any player would be tempted to join them, particularly one who plays for a club where he isn't even picked for the big games.
