Back in February, Sir Alex Ferguson backed Shinji Kagwa to come good in his second season at the club after the midfielder struggled to adapt in his debut term. But any signs of improvement this campaign have rarely been seen with the Japan international falling in and out of the side under Ferguson's successor, David Moyes. Kagawa has only played 90 minutes of football once all season and has largely had to settle for a place on the bench, something of which has left the former Borussia Dortmund star feeling unsettled. Reports claim the 24-year-old wants to leave in January as he looks for more regular playing time in a World Cup year, with Dortmund even making inquiries over the potential of re-signing their former player over the summer.
