Man Utd Transfers: Predicting The 10 Players Moyes Will Sell In January

6. Danny Welbeck

Has the time come for United to finally wash their hands of Danny Welbeck? A product of the famous club's youth academy, Welbeck has been at United since the age of eight, but rarely has he shown signs that he is capable of breaking through as a first team regular. For a forward, his goal-scoring rate in particular is disappointing - just three in the Premier League since 2012 - and though he has a high work-rate, he simply isn't potent enough in front of goal. Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie are also way ahead of him in the pecking order at Old Trafford, and it could be that the England international is deemed surplus to requirements in January. The 23-year-old has been loaned out twice in his career - to Preston North End and Sunderland, and you have to wonder if he will find himself at another club in the New Year - perhaps permanently this time.
