Man Utd Transfers: Predicting The 10 Players Moyes Will Sell In January

3. Nani

If Anderson has been frustrating, that goes double for Nani, whose wastefulness in possession and penchant for shooting from wild angles makes him a bane for United supporters. Like Anderson, Nani has been at the club since 2007 and much like the Brazilian has largely failed to impress during his tenure at Old Trafford. Though there were signs of the greenshoots of recovery fans had long hoped for between 2010-11 and 2011-12, campaigns which saw the Portuguese score nine and eight league goals, respectively, Nani has since reverted to type. Last season was particularly dismal, with the winger making just 11 appearances after suffering with injury, form and fitness, and yielded just one goal, while his one goal in the Champions League this season has been his only telling contribution. Nani spent much of his early days at United living under Cristiano Ronaldo's shadow but since his compatriot left, has failed to make the wide areas his own. He signed a new, five year contract at United back in September, but it would be surprising if he came anywhere close to seeing it out.
