Pardew has already said that Adam Armstrong could well be the biggest prospect on Newcastle's books, which is saying something when Rolando Aarons and Ayoze are both in the first-team picture already, and the question must be asked of whether he would benefit from a spell away from the club. He's a free scorer in the U21 side, and he looked tidy against Man City, if a little isolated, so the potential is definitely there, but if Armstrong fails to break into the first team, his development might stagnate a little. A loan, on the other hand might help him - as long as it's to the right place. The Answer A loan would be best, though not to the likes of Yeovil. Rangers might not as bad a prospect, as he'd probably score a hatful, but a Championship club (preferably Middlesbrough) would be the best bet.
