According to a report in the Daily Mail last month, Italian giants Roma are lining up a summer move for Newcastle's injured No.1 Tim Krul. AC Milan are also interested in the Dutchman, who is valued by the Magpies at around £15 million. Given Newcastle's plights this season, Krul could be interested in a switch to Italy, leaving Pardew on the lookout for a new goalkeeper. If that is the case, one such replacement could be former star Fraser Forster, who began his senior career on Tyneside back in 2007. In the six years he spent at the club, however, the Englishman never made an appearance for the North East club, and found himself loaned out on numerous occasions to the likes of Stockport, Bristol, Norwich and latterly Celtic. He's still with the hoops now, where he has won two consecutive Scottish Premier League titles, having established himself as Neil Lennon's No.1 keeper. His displays for the Bhoys in the Champions League this season were also impressive, in particularly against Barcelona in that famous 2-1 win, and such was the impressive nature of him performance in that game, that Spanish media heralded him as "The Great Wall".
