Chelsea Career: 2001-2003, 7 appearances. After Manchester Uniteds signing of Fabian Barthez, Bosnich failed to make a first-team appearance for the club and was transferred to Chelsea on a free in 2001. Due to problems with fitness and injuries, the Australian failed to make an appearance in his first season in London, before the lowest point in his career swiftly followed, as he failed a drugs test in September 2002. In 2003 Chelsea moved to sack the player, who was subsequently handed a nine months ban from the game. Making only five appearances before his sacking, Bosnich not only failed to make an impression on the team, but also failed to gain the respect of Chelsea fans and indeed football fans across England. The former Villa man's unprofessionalism and his few appearances prior to the drugs test are reason enough to find the goalkeeper at the bottom of our list.
