Spurs Transfers: 5 Young Left Backs To Compete With Danny Rose

By K.J. Stewart /

3. Neil Taylor (Swansea City)

If Spurs can't get Ben Davies, then they could go for the man he replaced. The oldest player on this list at 24 (but still young) is Neil Taylor. The Welsh left back was a stellar Premier League performer for Swansea until his injury sidelined him and Davies took full advantage of that. He made his return from injury last week in Swansea's early exit from the Capital One Cup - the competition they won last season - at the hands of Championship club Birmingham and was on the bench for his club's loss against Arsenal at the weekend. Prior to his injury, he had represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games and attracted interest from the likes of Newcastle United and Arsenal and he would be a solid addition to the Spurs squad. He would certainly provide genuine competition for Danny Rose.
