Result: Stevenage 3-4 Oldham Athletic Oldham and Stevenage took part in what was perhaps the weekends most exciting game, A lot of people, myself included think that Oldham could be a surprise package this season and a quick look at their attacking options tell us why. After falling 1-0 down thanks to a Darius Charles goal, Lee Johnsons men began firing on all cylinders, with goals from James Tarkowski, Jose Baxter and Christian Montano giving them a 3-1 lead. However Stevenage werent planning to go down without a fight and a goal a piece from Greg Tansey and Filipe Morais pulled them level. There was to be another twist in the tale though as Oldhams Jose Baxter stepped up to take another penalty (he had missed one earlier but scored the rebound) which he tucked away giving Oldham all three points.
