West Ham 3-0 Fulham: 5 Things We Learned

4. Ravel Morrison Should Be West Ham's Number 10

While Kevin Nolan is the preferred choice for Sam Allardyce as the team's number 10, Morrison's cameo appearance against Fulham shows he is capable of replacing the 31-year-old. Morrison has long been touted as a potential star of the future, if he is able to keep his attitude and off-field antics in check. The former Manchester United player famously left Old Trafford with Sir Alex Ferguson admitting that he was too difficult a player to manage, but if Allardyce can control the 20-year-old then he has a genuine talent on his hands. Against Fulham the youngster pulled out all his tricks and flicks in his 20 minute cameo appearance. His mazy run to set up Joe Cole for the team's third goal was a partiuclar highlight and one that may well have caught the attention of England manager Roy Hodgson. If West Ham want to score more goals, then the inclusion of Morrison behind a striker seems as though it could hold the key to unlocking defences.
