10 Doctor Who Actors Who Have Appeared In Blake's 7

5. Steven Pacey

Steven Pacey as Del Tarrant had the unenviable task of being Blake's replacement, a new rival for Avon in the battle for alpha male status. Headstrong, arrogant and a lothario, Tarrant very often came across as childish and impulsive. He at least commanded Avon€™s grudging respect for being "brave, young, handsome - there are three good reasons for anyone not to like him". Pacey made his mark in the Doctor Who universe by playing the Zygon Hagoth in his guise as Trevor in Paul Magrs' Big Finish Eighth Doctor play The Zygon Who Fell To Earth. Trevor is related by marriage to Lucie Miller and this story forms part of the Aunty Pat trilogy, sandwiched between Horror of Glam Rock and Death in Blackpool. The real Trevor is an ex-folk singer and Pacey even performs a song in this one, Falling Star with lyrics by Barnaby Edwards. Following its release in June 2008, the story was later broadcast on BBC Radio 7 to mark the 45th anniversary of the show (November 2008). Like his Blake€™s 7 character, Pacey€™s Trevor is something of a catch, with Aunty Pat revealing that she knew he was in fact a Zygon but that she had chosen to stand by her €˜man€™ regardless.
