10 Revived TV Shows That Should Have Stayed Dead

10. Knight Rider

Legend has it David Hasselhoff quit Knight Rider because the car received more fan mail than him, and despite a couple of forgotten attempts to create a spin-off (Team Knight Rider, anyone?) the show was consigned to sweet 80s nostalgia. That changed in 2008 when NBC attempted a glossy modern reboot, and ended up creating arguably the most forgettable TV series in history.

The show follows Michael Knight€™'s estranged son who is tasked with driving the new model KITT, voiced this time by a very sleepy Val Kilmer. How the producers took such a silly, fun idea like Knight Rider and made something so monotonous is almost impressive, and there isn€™t a single interesting character or sequence in the entire series

A reluctant David Hasselhoff made a tiny cameo at the end of the first episode, which teased his return somewhere down the line. Thankfully the show didn'€™t make it that far, getting canned after seventeen episodes. Still, the new car was kind of cool.
