Cool and calculating, Wesley served as Wilson Fisk's most trusted associate and genuine friend throughout Daredevil's first season. Though not necessarily physically imposing, he was fearsome nonetheless in his own right thanks to his clear capabilities and willingness to do anything to keep his employer's assets and plans whole.

Unfortunately for him, his confidence that he could handle the matter of Karen Page without worrying Fisk ended up backfiring on him. While attempting to persuade her into talking Ben Urich down from his investigation of Fisk lest everyone she know pay the price, Karen grabbed his gun when he was distracted and shot him dead.

Actor Toby Leonard Moore more than held his own even in Wesley's scenes with Fisk, making his death - which was still satisfying in its own right in terms of seeing the guy get what's coming - somewhat depressing just for the fact the show had to lose such a great character to keep moving forward.
