3. Orange Is The New Black

Orange is the New Black (which is, for my money, Netflix's best original series) is entering its fifth season, a time when dramas can found it difficult to keep things fresh.

It seems like OTINB won't have such struggles though, as they're changing up the format for Season 5: it picks up right where the great Season 4 left off, with Daya pointing a gun at Humphrey's head, her fellow inmates egging her on. From there we get a decompressed story, taking place in 'real time' over just three days, with a full-blown prison riot.

The series is increasingly leaving its comedy side behind, but that means darker, more powerful storytelling in Season 5.
