2. The Defenders
Daredevil. Jessica Jones. Luke Cage. Iron Fist. After four years in development, four different series (and five seasons) of TV, Netflix and Marvel are finally assembling the Defenders this summer.
The four heroes are coming together, along with most of their notable supporting characters, to once again battle the forces of evil on the streets of New York. This time: a resurrected, powered-up Elektra, and overarching villain Alexandra, played by Sigourney Weaver.
The eight-episode series promises lots of action - including, yes, a hallway fight scene with all four Defenders - and some great character moments, and hopefully a continuation of the quality Netflix first established with Daredevil and Jessica Jones.
