9 Great TV Characters Underused In Their Show's Final Season
3. Obi-Wan Kenobi - Star Wars: The Clone Wars
In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, James Arnold Taylor's Obi-Wan proved to be just as much fun as Ewan McGregor's. He played a key role throughout the first six seasons of the show, watching over Anakin, battling Separatists, and even taking on his old enemy Maul.
However, the show's seventh season overlapped with Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, in which Obi-Wan plays a key role. As such, he's too busy ending the Clone War on Utapau to appear much in the final Clone Wars story arc.
That said, he easily could have played a larger role in the earlier story arcs of the season. Instead, he only appears in a total of four episodes in Season 7, with three of them only cameos.
Though Clone Wars fans can see Obi-Wan again in the Skywalker Saga Star Wars films, the final season would have benefitted by actually closing out Obi-Wan's Clone Wars story.
