5. On Certain Planets, Foggy Nights Are Filled With Flying Sharks...
Next up on our tour of Steven Moffats universe, we come to a steampunk-themed planet in the midst of celebrating a Victorian Christmas. It sounds nice enough, doesnt it? After all, cosplay and Christmas is a winning combination in anyones book. However, as always, deadly danger is lurking... In the 2010 Christmas special (A Christmas Carol) The Doctor has to convince the local Ebeneezer Scrooge/Grinch/Old Man Potter (delete as appropriate) to help him save the lives of Amy, Rory and a shipload of innocent people about to crash into the planet below. But thats not the insane part. During the course of this adventure, the Doctor discovered that the skies on this particular planet contained gravity-defying sharks, the kind of sharks that might just fly into through your open window at night and swallow you whole. These flying sharks could only be pacified by a classically trained singer with a terminal illness, whos dulcet tones were about the only thing that stopped the creature from making a meal out of the time lord and his young companion (who was, himself, a past version of the grumpy old git I mentioned before dont ask). Were gonna need a bigger, um, dirigible?
