5. Clara Doesn't Have A Particular Taste In Men

The caretaker proved that Clara doesn't always fall for dashing young men in bow ties, despite the Doctor's assumptions. Fully aware of her infatuation with his former incarnation, the Doctor meets Clara's floppy haired colleague and immediately believes that she has fallen for a carbon copy of the Eleventh in the absence of the real thing. But of course, Danny Pink in nothing like the Eleventh Doctor and the clue was there in Deep Breath when Madame Vastra noted that her subconscious was filled with muscular men doing sport. While Clara may have loved the Doctor in his old life, she has now well and truly moved on and found someone altogether different. It also shows how different her relationship with the Doctor is. They may have a deep shared history, but in many ways they are now strangers too.
