Doctor Who: 10 Characters From Other TV Shows Who Would Make Terrible Companions

By Hayley May Phillips /

1. Stewie Griffin €“ Family Guy

He may be a cartoon character but if it were possible (and I€™m sure the universe would find a way), I€™d love to see Stewie in the TARDIS. Unfortunately, though, it seems unlikely that the Doctor would choose him as a companion to his travels. At first glance, Stewie seems to be an adorable one-year-old, but the Doctor wouldn€™t be fazed by this; after all, he speaks baby. He€™d easily understand everything Stewie said, even if no one else could. From jokes too sickening for children to utter to plotting both world domination and his mother€™s murder, Stewie€™s just too dark for a life with the Doctor. His devious and cool gadgets wouldn€™t help his cause, either. As much as the Doctor would be in awe that a baby could create time machines, teleports and universe manipulators, he€™d quickly put a stop to it! Stewie is definitely the kind of guy the Doctor is striving to save the universe from. As much as he€™d be a brilliantly hilarious addition to the TARDIS team, Stewie€™s thoughts and gadgets are just far too evil for the life of a companion. He€™s much more of an €˜evil genius€™ than a sweet, innocent assistant! What do you think? Know of any characters not mentioned that would be truly terrible in the TARDIS?
