Doctor Who: 10 Most Disappointing Concluding Episodes

By Luke Williams /

4. Last Of The Time Lords

This story collapses over its episodes more than any other. It began with Derek Jacobi as the Master as he tries to save humanity at the end of his disguised human body€™s life. By the end, the Doctor starts flying because he€™s turned into Jesus as he holds the whimpering Master, tying up everything in an angsty and infuriating bow. But it's about as welcome a bow as the knot which holds a kidnapped woman€™s gag in place. Both of the first two stories had good, slow build up that lead to two great ciffhangers. This one is more like a mush of scenes which don€™t mesh together properly and has all the flow of Vanilla Ice with a golf ball glued to his tongue.
