Did Russell T Davies do a good job as showrunner or what? Not only did he write eight of the thirteen episodes in the season, but he effectively pulled together some of the greatest minds and writers to complement his plot lines with some truly magnificent episodes. There was a perfect mixture of the spooky and supernatural, the thoroughly alien, and the touching, emotional side of Who. The perfect example of this was €œFather€™s Day€. In a tender moment, Rose was able to meet and converse with her deceased dad; they even shared some father-daughter bonding time (read: survived alien attacks together) before his tragic death. On the other hand, there were some frivolous plots as well - who could forget the deadly €œBig Brother€ and €œThe Weakest Link€ parodies as a means of Dalek terror? Fantastic - and also a little wacky, which brings me to my next point:
