In Pond's Room there was a bowl and a spoon and a drawing of a box flying over the moon Goodnight Pond is a simply charming parody of beloved childrens book Goodnight Moon, starring 11th Doctor companion Amelia Pond. Written by Leila Miyamoto of Dont Speak Whinese fame, with illustrations by James Hance who youll know from my previous article, it is full of nostalgia and plenty of Doctor Who references for the fans to pour over. Created when Leila had a broken foot, and not much else to do, the book is a self published labor of love, and a must have for fans of all ages! Unfortunately, the original art files were inadvertently wiped. The good news is, the book is getting new artwork from an as yet unnamed artist, and expanded text to further tell the story of Amelia/Amy Pond, Rory Williams, and the raggedy Doctor. While I will miss James Hances charming illustrations, I have heard great things about the new artist and look forward to seeing the revised version. For updates, follow them on facebook.
