A lot of the episode takes place inside Caecilius' villa, and according to Moran, it was an extremely impressive set to stand in.

The writer tweeted that this building "was a full 360 degree thing" (we assume he means that it was built for real, and wasn't just a three-wall set like you'd get in a sitcom) with a proper roof, and working steam coming out of the vents.
