5. The Pyrovile Originally Had A Much Longer Name

While the Pyrovile are a solid Doctor Who monster, you're unlikely to find the fiery beasts alongside the Weeping Angels and the Daleks on a list of the all-time best.

Still, they look incredible from a design perspective, and were brought to life with some quality CGI and effects. They also have a really snappy and easy-to-pronounce name, but at one point in time... well, let's just say that there were a lot more letters.
