Beauty is so subjective a term it is almost meaningless. In Vastras eyes, Jenny is grace personified though this goes against everything expected of her. Jenny declares her love for Vastra openly without shame or doubt. They are not just two women together they are entirely different species and yet that has little bearing on their regard for one another. In fact it is their willingness to see beyond the exterior that in turn influences their perception of outward beauty. Both the Doctor and the cyborg believe the dinosaur to be beautiful but their definition of beauty is very different. The Doctor sees the value of the whole, the radiance of the spirit within the body. The cyborg perceives only a selection of parts that is wrapped up in a beautiful package. It is this perception that allows the cyborg to rationalize its horrific actions. The dinosaur is a person to the Doctor, but for the cyborg she is merely a thing to be used for self-gratification.
