Is the Doctor defined by his enemies? Hes been told more than once that he would make a good dalek. Certainly the potential is there. What separates him from the monsters is that he consciously chooses to try to be something else. Everyone has the seed of darkness within them. That cannot be denied, nor should it be. The only reason we are not evil is that we choose not to be. The Doctor makes mistakes. He freely acknowledges this. Should he have taken Journey Blue with him? She may be a soldier yet she was showing signs of learning how not to be one. The Doctor fears that part of himself and it colors his perceptions to the point that he has trouble seeing beyond the uniform. Into the Dalek was an interesting journey into the mind of both the dalek and the Doctor. It was a bit heavy-handed with its message and there were some problems with story flow as scenes changed abruptly. Still it was enjoyable and the introduction of Danny Pink certainly left us wanting more. One thing is for sure. The Doctor is back.
