Who Should Win
Kate McKinnon
Both Transparent actresses would be worthy winners too, but McKinnon is SNL's real shining light at the moment. Her Hilary Clinton was superb (and a little underappreciated, due to the plaudits and attention heaped on Baldwin), and any chance to see McKinnon put her humour and weirdness on display was more than welcome. Her movie output hasn't hit yet, but she deserves to be a star after this year.

Like with Baldwin, McKinnon's performance is the one they're really going to remember, as it was the showiest of the bunch, and she won last year so it's another easy vote. The only risk to that is the SNL vote potentially being split three ways, which could open the door for one of the others.
