Who Should Win

Millie Bobby Brown

Brown earned a lot of acclaim for her breakout performance, and justifiably so. Eleven was a total badass thanks to Brown, but so much more besides, as she in equal turns imbued her performance with childlike wonder and glee, but also a real sense of vulnerability and pain. Put all those alongside how powerful you believed she was, and her sheer presence, and it's a great performance for any age, let alone an adolescent.

Thandie Newton (Or Chrissy Metz)

Westworld performed well in the technical categories at the Creative Arts Emmys, which indicates some love among voters, and Newton's performance was an extremely popular one. Standing an equally strong chance, though, is Chrissy Metz. This Is Us is the biggest network drama contender in years, and it's likely to get a lot of love.
