9. He Is The Valonqar

So far, all of Maggy the Frog's prophecies have started to come true. She married the king, and had three children with 'golden crowns', while he had ten-and-six. Two of them have died, and the future doesn't look great for Tommen. There's also a number of contenders for who will be the queen to oust Cersei; you could consider it Margaery, or alternatively Daenerys, or even Sansa. After all that, comes this: 

"...The valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you." 

Valonqar is High Valyrian for 'little brother', and Cersei spends her whole life believing this to be Tyrion. There are a number of other theories as to who the valonqar will be, ranging from Jaime to Sandor Clegane to one of the Stark girls, but Tyrion is still counted among the favourites should it come to pass. He'd certainly have motive, and experience when it comes to kinslaying, although Jamie would be more poetic, and Sandor more fun. If it is Tyrion, then at least this rather excellent threat will have been made good:

"I will hurt you for this. I don't know how yet, but give me time. A day will come when you think yourself safe and happy, and suddenly your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth, and you'll know the debt is paid.”
