68. Spacedock Security And General Security - Mid 2280s/Mid 2290s

Star Trek III: The Search For Spock introduced a unique style of security officer uniform, seen only on Spacedock. This padded uniform displayed the Delta on the left breast as usual, as well as service and rank insignia on the left sleeve.

The strap containing the insignia was closer to the bicep as the cuff closed like the sleeves on a dress shirt, with buttons extending back through the length. This uniform also came with a hat, as well as a buckle at the front that evoked memories of the perscan devices in The Motion Picture.

This security uniform was vastly different from those aboard starships, which featured body armour and helmets as early as the mid-2270s, though later lost those helmets by the mid-2290s.
