Star Trek: Every Starfleet Uniform Ranked From WORST To BEST

65. Excursion/Training Uniforms - Early 2370s

These excursion uniforms were introduced in Star Trek: Voyager, allowing the wearer a greater amount of mobility and, in the case of the boots, grip, particularly when partaking in activities like rock climbing. For them to be available to Voyager's crew, they must have been in service as early as 2371.

They were similar in design to the training uniforms, also seen aboard Voyager, though the excursion variants had longer sleeves. Both bore division stripes across the chest, with rank insignia on the collar of the excursion uniform.

The training uniforms, on the other hand, had no high collars, presumably as rank indicators weren't a priority for these designs.
