Star Trek: Every Starfleet Uniform Ranked From WORST To BEST
51. Dress Uniforms - 2360s - Early 2370s
The early 2360s to the early 2370s were a booming period for Starfleet stylists. While new Admiral's uniforms were being churned out weekly, Starfleet dress uniforms saw an almost equal amount of turnover.
One early dress uniform was a longer version of the standard uniform top, though double-breasted. This was edged with a wide, golden accent running from the collar, along the collarbone and then down to the hem. This was then replaced by a similar design, though the wide golden border was abandoned.
This new variant was revised again, shortening the dress top, before a final version was unveiled. This version was shorter still, displayed the rank insignia on the right breast, and retained a thin, golden border along the collar and collarbone. This version remained in use until at least 2374, as both Bashir and O'Brien are seen wearing theirs at the wedding of Jadzia Dax and Worf. This would also account for its use in the Delta Quadrant, aboard the USS Voyager.
