48. Starfleet Flight/Survival Uniforms - Kelvin Timeline 2250s/2260s
Over Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Trek Beyond, there are several variations of Starfleet survival and away mission gear. Star Trek gave us the orbital skydiving suit, as well as Kirk's survival suit from Delta Vega.
Star Trek Into Darkness gave us the wetsuit, the flight suit, and the flight suit with added jets. Star Trek Beyond then gave us the survival jacket, crafted in hues of blue and yellow. Though the amount of field uniforms seems a tad excessive for such a short period, it continues the trend of having several variations of uniform in service at once in Starfleet.
Some, like the skydiving suit, seem geared toward a single, specific mission, whereas the away jacket from Star Trek Beyond is a more general type of field uniform. Whatever the reason, this version of Starfleet clearly has a high uniform budget for its operatives.
