38. Standard Duty Uniform Skant Variant - Early 2360s

In the early 2360s, male and female members of the crew were both seen wearing the 'skant', a variation on the standard one-piece uniform that removed the trousers, but extended fabric down below the waist. 

Though apocraphally described as the 'space cheerleader' outfit by some, the uniform could be worn by any member of the crew, in alignment with Gene Roddenberry's push to show equality in the future. Crewmembers could wear knee-high leather boots or shorter ankle-high boots.

Dr Pulaski wore a variation on the skant, adding a pair of black trousers to the standard blue medical skirt. Two variants, one with an abdomen strap and one without, appeared in The Next Generation's second season.
