39. Starfleet Uniform - Late 32nd Century

3190 saw a shift in Starfleet's relationship with colours. The uniform in use in 3189 was, in the words of a mind like Garak, drab. By the following year, the asymmetrical jackets were once again full of colour, bringing back the red/blue/yellow/white of the various divisions.

Though the style retained the collar insignia, with bars replacing pips, the jacket inverted the design of its predecessor. Now, instead of a division colour running down the right-hand side, a black stripe broke up the rest of the jacket. A zipper, finally allowed to be on show, ran down the middle, while a small device sat on the left sleeve cuff - ready to replicate a phaser on command.
