25. Starfleet Uniform - 33rd Century

For Captain Leto, the first non-flag Starfleet officer seen in the 33rd Century, this new uniform came with an additional pip and a lot of added pressure. In Life, Itself, he has just been promoted to the big seat, and asks his mother for some advice.

The entire coda of Star Trek: Discovery's final episode is about endings and new beginnings. This version of the uniform shares the bright colours of those late-32nd Century uniforms, albeit a little more functional in design, and eschewing the asymmetry of so many of the previous uniforms.

The updated Delta sits on the left breast, while the rank pips remain in the middle of the collar, though less conspicuous than its predecessor. Gold ornaments were positioned on the sleeves, marking the end of the Command red division colour.
