Star Trek: Every Starfleet Uniform Ranked From WORST To BEST

10. Starfleet Bomber Jacket - Mid 2280s

Higher-ranking officers were given the option of wearing a casual, suede jacket. This bomber-style jacket retained the overall idea of the Monster Maroons, though it eschewed the double-breasted design. Rank insignia were still displayed on the shoulder strap (now minus a clasp) and the left sleeve cuff.

A silver buckle fastened the jacket at the bottom, while the actual cuffs appeared to be made from a leather-like material. As with most uniform designs, the brass Delta was positioned on the left breast.

Fleet Admiral Morrow wore the first of these jackets to be seen in Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, which was followed by an almost identical jacket worn by Captain Kirk, as well as an Operations division variant - evidenced by the colour change on the shoulder strap - worn by Captain Scott.
