A lot of wrestling fans would agree that Cody Rhodes is under-rated - there was a time a few years ago when it looked for all the world like WWE were going to give the guy a shot at the top of the card, but it didn't really materialise. Instead, Rhodes is often looked upon as somebody who can deliver a solid match, but doesn't really have the connection with the fans which warrants a top-line push. At Fast Lane, Rhodes - as Stardust - finally got to face his former tag partner, Goldust. Battling his brother, it wasn't really even the quality of the match which many will take from the show, it was Cody's promo after it. Laying a verbal beatdown on his father, Dusty, and a more physical kicking to his brother, Stardust came of age as a character during this promo. Hopefully, WWE give the guy more time to talk with such passion, as even the reaction of the live crowd (who rarely react to anything on the big screen nowadays) proved that it was a great piece of work. Goldust may possibly be about to be phased out, but fingers should be crossed that Stardust is allowed to keep on going.
