9. Nia Jax

The most physically imposing female on the WWE roster comes in at No. 9, thanks in large part to protective booking and consistently improving performances.

Jax evolved from squash matches to a spot in the Raw Women's Championship hunt. Victories over Sasha Banks, Bayley and Charlotte elevated her while the strength of her performances in those matches portrayed a woman constantly improving.

Having the support of WWE Creative did not hurt.

At WrestleMania 33, she was one of three women competing in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination match. So dominant was she booked that it took Banks, Bayley and Charlotte banding together to eliminate her. Considering the bad blood that existed between those women, it is a testament to the unstoppable competitor she had become.

Even now, Jax remains an intimidating element in the Raw women's division.

A premier threat to Alex Bliss' title, she is a one-sided ass-kicking away from winning her first championship and, possibly, a babyface turn. A dominant, 33-minute performance in a gauntlet match on the June 26 episode of Raw, in which she defeated the aforementioned Bayley, Emma, Dana Brooke and Mickie James, only helped her cause.
