10 Biggest Wrestling Scandals Of The 2000s
8. Katie Vick
Speaking of infamous WWE storylines, there are few quite as shocking as the tale of Triple H, Kane, and poor old Katie Vick.
During a feud between The Game and The Big Red Machine in late 2002, the former made some shocking allegations about the latter. Triple H accused his rival of being involved in a drink-driving accident that killed Ms. Vick, his crush at the time.
If that wasn't bad enough, Trips went even further and stated that, once Katie was dead, Kane... had his way with her. This was "illustrated" by a video shown on Raw, in which the then-World Heavyweight Champion donned a Kane mask and pretended to get jiggy with a mannequin in a coffin.
This skit includes the notorious moment in which Triple H holds up a hand full of pink goo and said "I literally screwed your brains out". This is WWE's current head booker, by the way.
The Katie Vick debacle is inherently grim and it also completely nuked Kane's character. Not only did it mess with his established backstory, but he didn't even win the feud! Bad times all around.
