At Night of Champions 2011, it appears that WWE officials had a bit of a field day. There were multiple reports of a number of signs being confiscated, but much like the previous Sting-related signs it looks like the company had good intentions here. One of the signs in question read WWE owns UFC, and while that is obviously only the opinion of a WWE fan, that kind of sentiment probably isnt going to do much for the relations between the two companies. Worse still though was a second sign reading wish Benoit was here. Little needs to be said about this one as its obviously a very distasteful and unnecessary addition to the show. Therefore its no surprise that the WWE wanted this message removed from view and quite frankly its hard to argue with them on this one. Theres nothing wrong with a bit of banter at a wrestling showin fact that what makes a live event so great. But when that escalates to another level then it needs to be pulled in. Once again were starting to see evidence of the WWE using censorship with the right reasons at heart.
