10 Fantasy WWE Matches That Took Place On Free TV

6. CM Punk Vs. Daniel Bryan (Raw, 2012)

Do you remember those three or four glorious months between Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2011 and WrestleMania XXVIII, when WWE's two world title holders were CM Punk and Daniel Bryan? It seems like a distant dream now.

But it was real, and for proof look no further than the fact that the duo fought each other in a special champion versus champion match on an episode of Monday Night Raw in January 2012 - a treat thrown together by general manager John Laurinaitis.

To their credit, this one actually went a solid 15 minutes before its inevitable DQ ending. This time it was Chris Jericho who saw fit to crush all of our dreams, taking it upon himself to attack his WrestleMania opponent and force the referee's hand.

Fortunately, on this occasion Vince McMahon had the common courtesy to follow up on all this teasing with a proper match at Money in the Bank about six months later. On that occasion, the duo got about half an hour for the WWE Title, and shared one of the best matches of the year.
